Replace the whole unit. If it has that much damage there is probably more wrong than a bad battery

I would recommend replacing the entire unit just in case there is other damage to the unit and also because of the age of the UPS. Generally the UPSs last around 7 to 10 years and the internal batteries last around 3 to 5 years. We still have the 1,000 VA models available as well.
