“I just got an iPad 7. I turned on the continuous scrolling feature and the ruler in the Kindle book app. I don’t like those features so I toggled them off. However, they turn back on immediately and won’t stayoff. What do I do to get rid of this?”

When you change it in the settings do a hard reset with the 1st Power button press down and hold the home key (circle) and it will reboot. This has worked for me when Apple tries to bully me into using features that are irritating to me .
