- Answer Yes. You still will have pay taxes on it at customs so it will end up being the same price if not more if you just buy it over there. Unless you purchase here open it and then get rid of the evidence....like the packaging and receipt and say you had it all along. You can select your region and the iPad and App Store would be based off the European region instead of the United States
