32GB is basic and not enough memory if you have LOTS of music or pic files, for example. I have to limit my iTunes library on the pad to about 600 songs.

For most people, 32 GB is probably enough. But if you download new apps all the time and like to use data intensive apps, you may be disappointed. . My iPad version 5 with 32 GB keeps bumping up against the limit, and updates are iffy.

Check the amount of space you use for apps on your iPhone. Is on the settings menu and you can compare

For me, pleanty of memory. But, depends what you’re using it for. My Apple phone I tend to get lots of storage, my iPad I don’ care.
