“What is the difference between choosing the Verizon carrier vs picking the “unlocked” version?”

• If you choose the Verizon one you have to get your cellular from Verizon. If you choose unlocked like I did you can get your cellular from wherever you get your cell phone service from, Cricket, T-Mobile, At&t, Metro, etc.

• Not 100% sure but in the unlocked mode I think it allows the option of using a few carriers of your choice near you, verses if you choose Verizon then you stick with their plans only.
