“I am looking for a model that 1) will allow a USB or USB c thumb drive to be connected to it. 2) will allow me to connect my blue tooth hearing aides to be connected to it. I'm pretty sure that I would be able to transport my current cell phone # over.”

This device will do both for you. It can be connected to a USB and you can Bluetooth any headphones or Bluetooth device you have. Even if you have a smart TV you can connect it via Bluetooth.
