• The cellular model includes GPS so you can download Google maps and use navigation offline without needing a data plan. Apple maps will also work if you start navigation while connected to WIFI and you keep the app open for the duration of the trip. Some games also need GPS such as Pokemon Go.

• There are 2 ...... first you can use anywhere there is a cell signal and second it has a gps chip...there may be others.
