QuestionWill the wifi + cellular work if you don't sign up for a carrier like Verizon or do you have to get a carrier service for it to work like internet and all? Thanks

- Answer If you get the cellular enabled iPad, you probably won't get the contract price of $200.00 off the store price. It will work on Wi-Fi no matter what on any iPad. If don't get the cellular potion you lose out on getting GPS satellite nav. So if you plan on using it for moving maps and directions on a big screen, and $20.00 a month is in your budget plus data charges op for the combined Wi-Fi and cellular. Some people don't know that without cellular you loose GPS.

QuestionSo what is the difference between the Verizon version and the unlocked version besides $200 in price. I thought that all iPads were unlocked. I am currently with Verizon now but may not always be with them so just curious as to what the benefit is.

- Answer It is unclear what unlocked model you are talking about. However, Verizon uses CDMA models and other networks use GSM, so if you might switch from Verizon you would want a universally unlocked model.

- Answer They give you a discount, lock you into paying for an additional line ($10/month) for two years and you have to pay it upfront.
