• A:Answer It has the USB-C connector. So u either need to purchase new ear phones (wired) w the USB C , which can be had fairly cheaply on Amazon. Or get adaptors for your lightening cable ones or the audio type cables. All on Amazon. I bought a few of each. Or go wireless. I prefer wired so I don’t have to worry about charging them or losing them. And they work great and r pretty cheap.

• A:Answer Yes you can and it was intergrated into the setup. So easy. Of course you need to make sure your old ipad has a icloud backup which is usually already turned on. It took less than 30 minutes for me.
