- Answer no, it does not. However, you can buy a very inexpensive extender from Amazon that enables this capability. I use iPods which do not require the plug.

- Answer It depends on the model you purchase! If you don’t purchase a model with cellular, (it should say cellular in the name) then it doesn’t have built in data. Although it will be able to connect to your hotspot easily.
