• Yes, This iPad has a USB-C port for charging and data transfers. But have to have a USB-C Thumb Drive (Zip) or a USB-A to USB-C adapter.

• No, the only port on the iPad is for the charging cable, which is usb-c, not lightening. Pictures can be saved on the cloud and you should be able to access the, from any Apple device signed into your cloud account. Alternatively, I believe that you can sign into your cloud account on the web if you are on a PC. You also should be able to airdrop them to an Apple device that is close by when airdrop is turned on. Hope this helps.
