• It comes with an on screen keyboard but if you want a physical keyboard, then you will have to purchase a keyboard. I personally have the magic keyboard since i use my ipad like a laptop except for playing games (65% of my use), but highly recommend despite the price. Check Mercari, i bought from a seller for 205 when it first came out and no issues.

• It has the on screen keyboard, I have the magic keyboard which takes the I pad 12.9 to another level. Yes this is the newest model with the M1 chip.
