• iPad Air is obsolete. The iPad Pro has a faster processor, thinner, and supports the Apple Pencil. They both run iOS operating system of course.

• The biggest difference is the operating system. iPad is iOS similar to your phone very limited when it comes to some things. The air has the full blown Mac operating system
