No you do not need to purchase a cellular plan.

In fact you only need a cellular plan if you want to use it outside of your house (on the road somewhere). But even then...you can connect it to your cellphones hot spot. Buy it now as it is on DEAL OF THE DAY FOR ONLY $899. I'm buying one for my wife. It's the previous gen Ipad pro...released in 2021 but she won't know the difference. And quite frankly, I won't know the difference either. She had the 2nd Gen Ipad Pro...(about 8 year old now, I left it outside by the pool...it rained cats and dogs and soaked the thing. Anyway, she is to scared to use it now, because of the rain...the ipad works like a champ still but she is too scared to use it due to risk of being electrocuted. So...I'm buying her this one. BEST HUSBAND AWARD...GOES TO...MEEEEEEE. HAHAHAHAHAHA
