• You can face time on it. However, it doesn’t allow you to dial numbers to make actual phone calls.. it doesn’t have the phone app at all.

• Yes to FaceTime. I don’t believe you can make calls. If so I’m not familiar to that.

• If your iPhone is near and you have the option enabled- yes. By itself, it can be used for FaceTime by not to make any calls using the mobile networks. Wi-Fi calling opens some doors too.

• You can make FaceTime video and Audio calls. As far as standard calls, you cannot unless you have an iPhone and they are connected to the same network.
