Yes, you can use this with most iPhones without an issue. If you check the description it says that you can use this with an iPhone. Also I checked the credentials with Apple's website and the latest iPhones were all listed (going all the way back to the iPhone 5) If Apple says this is ok then you should be safe to use it. People should do fact checking before they answer these questions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same question and spoke to a few associates (BestBuy, Verizon and Apple). All told me that it was safe. It’s safe to assume that they don’t include it for a few reasons, 1) it costs more, 2) it takes up more space so they’d have to modify their packaging, 3) the 5W one works fine for a phone. All the reasons boil down to the fact that they are trying to save a buck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used one from my iPad and charged my iPhone 7+ all the time and I had better battery health than others who had newer iPhones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s complete lot safe. I went to Apple and asked the same quesri N. I then purchased one and been using for a month with no issues and expedited charging.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is safe to use with the new iPhones, I currently am using this for my iPhone XS Max. the reason that apple doesn’t include it in the box is because they are being cheap! There are a ton of ppl upset since the new iPhones support fast charge but they aren’t including it in the box to cut costs and to make more money by selling them separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Safe. Yes. Phone will regulate if too much power is pushed in. 5W is cheaper.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve used this for a bit over a year to ‘fast charge’ my iPhone 7 and my battery life has remained well and constant. From my personal experience I’d say it is safe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You're going to probably get a new phone before it matters. I'd say for practicality use it as you see fit because that's what its there for i mean you don't want to not have juice correct? if it does drain within a year you'd still have warranty and if it starts to degrade after that then it would've probably degraded already in the first year. Sorry if this didn't really answer your question but its annoying that Apple hasn't figured out how to charge our phones faster because i'm always on the go and sometimes i need a quick 30 minute to 1hr charge to last the rest of the day and the standard charge isn't cutting it. btw also an iphone x user haven't had issues with battery yet its pretty good still.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven’t had any problems at all. It’s been 100% safe for me!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told using the 12W charger for your iPhone would damage your battery in your phone and shouldn't be used as it has a lot more power.
