“Can this model be configured to 16GB? What does that do to the price?”

• These 21.5" iMacs cannot have their memory upgraded. There is a memory upgrade option when placing a special order. I would recommend at least 16 GB RAM. Or splurge for the larger 27" model. Those can be upgraded yourself later at a much lower price than the Apple option.
