• No CD slot but it has usb ports built in for the flash drive

• There is definitely no where to put a disc, which is somewhat annoying, but you can use a flash drive. I bought an external pioneer Blu-ray burner and player for about $100 to put with it-wish I would have got the 27 inch though-the 5K is awesome.
