Yes. This charger has the capability to charge newer iPhone models w the USB-C port. You will need the matching charging cube, since the other that matches to original USB charging cord, will not fit. You may also want to consider some type of adapter for car charging to connect USB-C to USB port, if avail in your vehicle. These are avail for real cheap on Amazon. Hope this helps.
