• Yes, it comes with a SD reader...if you want to use the mini SD card....you will have to have the adapter for it to fit. This reader is for the larger SD.

• Yes, There is one sd slot on the back of the machine. You can also buy little hubs that attach to the front of your computer if it is not convenient for you to keep reaching to the back of the iMac. They cost around $30 or more online.
