The 2TB Fusion drive is a 128GB SSD combined with an ~ 1.85TB Spinning hard drive. Apple uses software to put most of the operating system as well as your most commonly used files onto the SSD portion for fast retrieval. PLEASE NOTE: The 1TB fusion drive only has 24GB SSD which is why I am in the process of taking my 1TB iMac back to bestbuy to swap for this model with the 2TB fusion drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, There are two kinds of iMac. One with Fusion and one with SSD. Both are 2TB in size. Just make sure that before you make your purchase, you select the one that you prefer (SSD or fusion). I select fusion drive, although it's pricier, but it is better. I always go to the store and purchase it instead of the website. It could be misleading sometimes on their website so I strongly suggest to visit an actual store, or at least call them and you can also place the order thru the phone.
