Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can research GHZ at Everymac.com. Every model is different. You upgrade by opening a door on the backside of a 27" Mac. You can add 8 GB in 4 GB modules to the existing 8 GBs, or you can remove the existing RAM and add 4 modules of 8 GB RAM to the 2015 & some earlier models. The 2017 Macs can hold a lot more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The default RAM is 8 GB. It's more than sufficient for 98% of your needs. When it isn't, you'll see a pinwheel for a few seconds. This happens less frequently with fusion drives.
