Memory and hard drives are completely different. Hard drives store programs and photos and files etc. Memory is where the programs get loaded into in order to run and files get loaded in order to open. The more ram you have the more things you can do at once. The more hard hard drive space you have the more you can store.
Think of the hard drive as the size of a cupboard and memory as counter space in the kitchen, or hard drive as the size desk drawers and memory as the size top of your desk.
A:AnswerYes it does contain an SSD sort of..... The fusion drive is a combination of a SSD and a rotating platter type drive. The 1tb fusion drive currently has a 24gb SSD and 1 1tb regular drive. Hope this helps.
