Yes, there are 2 empty slots, it comes with 2 4GB 1867 MHz DDR3's installed.

I haven’t upgraded the ram,but there’s a slot in back of the computer to access the ram. According to Crucial.com its expandable to 64gb. http://www.crucial.com

Best resource person to ask are the Geek staff or Best Buy sales rep, they could give you more detailed information regarding increasing memory and other upgrades.
