• I use this with the Apple 29w usb c charger. It charges my iPad Pro much faster than the 12w charger. I also have aftermarket cables that are usb c to lightning that charge notably slower as well as other charging bricks that are slower. I think there are Apple electronics that allow faster charging.

• Hi. I have not needed a special USB wall charger. The wireless pad comes with the wall charger and it charges quickly. That has been my experience.
