Yes it sure will and works great.

Impossible to Know without knowing your set up but this is a 3.5 mm to lightning. 3.5mm means it’s like a standard headphone input. If your car has an “aux” this this should work. BUT I’d recommend looking at third party options there’s stronger quality braided cables out there that are more durable than the thin and overpriced Apple version.
