- Answer “Unlocked” means it can be used with any cellular carrier. You can put a sim from AT&T or Verizon for example. All cellular carries have tablet plans for an added charge (usually $10-20 per month) to add the tablet to your current mobile plan.

- Answer No, it does not. I had an active SIM card in my old device & just switched it. It was the nano SIM card size. You have to pick a carrier for your device much like you would a phone.
