Are the airpods pro multipoint connectivity null

I don’t think so. Didn’t work for me. And that is a bummer! I wanted to be able to connect iPhone and iPad concurrently so I don’t miss a call while watching videos on the iPad. Even my $30 Plantronics M50 has multipoint connectivity. Apple, really? If anyone had a different experience I’d like to know
