Best Buy trade-in value is based on the condition of your device. If you have AirPods Pro Gen 1 in perfect condition you can get $55 credit through the Trade-In system.

That said, if the AirPods Pro you currently have are a week old, you can return them and put the money towards the AirPods Pro Gen 2.

If the airpods you purchased are through bestbuy, they still are within our return period and you can get store credit within the two weeks of purchase.

If it is within the 14-day return policy and you have proof of purchase you should be able to return the 1st gen and pay the difference (once they are in-store), gift card, or original payment method since these will be pre-sale first.

There is a 14 day return policy.  Return the Gen 1 and use those funds towards the Gen 2.
