Yes they should work on an Android, however, you will not have seamless connection and many features won't work like Hey Siri. I suggest you buy the Samsung Buds, Raycon Earbuds, or Powerbeats Pro.

I was just reading about the same question on “Apple.com/EarPods” our answer is there and tells us everything to do. YES, is the answer and you lose nothing as far as what the iPhone users get out of them. I just bought a pair at “Best Buy” for $ 159.00, ordered them online and was able to pick them up in one hour.

Worked with my Samsung TV (smart tv 8 series) . So, I’m assuming there shouldn’t be any problem connecting to Androids.

yes but they are not integrated as well as they are on iOS. the chip and software is specifically designed to work well for iOS devices, can still use them on android tho.
