The Apple iPods latest generation would definitely work for your bike riding. But make sure you get the after stock "over the ear" additional support which is this flexible plastic I bought from Amazon.com - you may also want to check at Best Buy website to see if they have it as well. It works great for how much it is valued and does the job to listen to your favorite music, not to mention the sound quality and fit to your ears. It's easy to place these iPods on them before placing them on and over the ears, you will see what I mean. Takes practice to put them together but I highly recommend it. It's worth it if you are buying these iPods for support and longevity. This way you don't lose them right away during your long bike ride. :)
