Although I agree Tile made Bluetooth trackers mainstream, Apple isn’t just copying Tile, the key here is the use of Ultra Wideband. With the U1 chip, Airtags and iPhones (11 and above) have the sense of direction that Bluetooth trackers do not have. This makes them much more accurate. Also, Apple has more than a billion devices in their network, making it much better than Tile for now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That’s what I thought at first, until I decided to try one instead of replacing a Tile tracker that kicked the bucket for the last time. I think the AirTags work better, and sync up easier with all of the iThings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They didn’t copy Tile the improved it. hey made it so it could be unscrewed and batteries replaced as opposed to tile it was disposable had to buy another one in a year you don’t have to do that with Apple It’s 2021 Milwaukee has a version DeWalt has a version Apple has a version tile as a version anybody does anybody has an electronic technology that when you find apparatus is that you value.. The find my phone app tells you where it’s at and many more people carry Apple products and people that carry the tile. As a matter fact I bought an eight pack of tile two years ago and all but two of them did not work within six months I I guess if you insist OK they copied it and made it better With the ability to replace the battery
