“Is the Air Tag rechargeable, or does it need to be replaced periodically?”

• Not rechargeable but Im told its easy to replace the flat battery that can be found at any drugstore etc. I have two of them for about a year and a half and haven’t had to worry about them yet!

• The batteries need to be replaced periodically. I haven’t had them long enough to tell you how long they will last; however, the replacement batteries are CR2032 3V Lithium Batteries.

• The Air Tag uses a CR2032 3 volt lithium battery. The battery is replaceable, and your Air Tag will send you a message when the battery is getting low.

• The AirTag is not rechargeable. The battery should last a year and it is replaceable. The battery is easy to find, especially if you shop at Best Buy.

• It has a battery that needs replaced about once or twice a year depending on how many times you activate to make noise so you can find it. So far I haven't had to replace one yet knock on wood.
