• No. I just tried to buy AppleCare for a refurbished Apple Macbook that I bought last month at Best Buy and was told that they do not offer AppleCare on certified refurbished.

• You can only get AppleCare if you buy the product from Apple Store. They have the option when you purchase from them. Unfortunately this means Best Buy doesn’t offer AppleCare. Instead they have geek squad. I highly recommend AppleCare over geek squad.

• Yes, you can purchase an AppleCare. Please check the eligibility requirements for AppleCare coverage. Typically, AppleCare can be purchased within 60 days of the original purchase of the Mac, regardless of whether it's refurbished.
