• There is no 3rd generation AirPod Pro’s. This is the original model released and they just released the second model this month.. so these would be first generation. If you are just a normal user, though, you will never know the difference between the two. These sound fantastic

• Technically, 2nd gen. There is a newer version of airpods that are 3rd generation, but they are not “Pros”. These are the latest “Pro” version air pods at this time. If u get the 3rd generation air pods, they will not be the “Pro” version which has less options & lower quality.
