- Answer BestBuy would need to provide a definitive answer, but I'm sure someone else owned it. If they simply returned the laptop it would probably be labeled open box. I'm happy with mine so far.

- Answer The one I received was 2019 and does have two teeny tiny scratches, but the imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not effect the full function of the laptop.
