• Yes, there has been only one model released. The only thing that you will need to do is update the software...which is easy to do through your iPhone.

• yes dawg this is the latest model, the HomePod has yet to have a hardware change in its lifetime. There has been software updates and they have made the HomePod more worth it. You should totally pick one up this week since it’s $200, THAT IS A FRICKING STEAL!!
