The plug can be converted with an adapter for other voltage schemes in other countries. The power cable itself is not swappable without actually taking the device apart. Stripping the power cable and attaching another adapter would be a potentially dangerous mistake unless you know what you're doing. Apple also charges $35 to repair a damaged power supply cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think you could run your Homepod off a laptop for too long as it would most likely drain the batter. If playing music for any extended amount of time at higher valumes may require more power and there are a lot of speakers in the unit. It was not designed for this type of use. You could bring a portable battery unit or purchase a speaker designed specifically for portable use. The HomePod is heavy. I have 120 volt in my car and it would be great for Tailgate or camping. Best Buy has some great portable battery units and great portable speakers if you need something of this nature. The sound is pretty good.
