the HomePod will allow you to take and make calls when connected to the same WiFi server and if WiFi calling is enabled on her iPhone, I would not expect it to suport any control functions of her smart TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the HomePod is paired with an Apple TV she can ask Siri to find her programming through the apps without having to push the mic button on the Apple TV remote. She can also ask Siri for help in how to use her phone.
