Yes, the Apple HomePod works with an iPhone 5s or later running iOS 11.2.5 or later without the need for additional equipment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will work with only an iPhone as an IOS device is required to set it up. However, if you plan on streaming Spotify or some other music service to it via Airplay you may not be happy. I would not recommend it to anyone who is not an Apple Music subscriber if you only have one Apple IOS device. Having said that, if you do subscribe to Apple Music, once it is set up with the iPhone, you can play anything you want from the Apple Music catalog with a simple "Hey Siri play..." command.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but you will need Apple Music.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, all you need is an iPhone to fully utilize the HomePod. Setup occurs on iPhone and you can control the HomePod settings through your iPhone and use the speaker as an external sound source for various apps, including music and video streaming. You can also play Apple Music by using Siri voice commands.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. An iPhone should be just fine. I have Apple Music so not sure if there would be a problem pairing with out it, but once paired you can swipe up and see the HomePod as an option to play music from your phone. (.....computer an iPad not needed just WiFi)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
