• The restrictions setting is very helpful.You would want to disable access to the App Store , Apple Music and Safari using the restrictions setting. No restriction is perfect but this does a pretty good job. You can read more about the various lock-down settings here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201304 Texting is limited to other Apple Users using Apple Texting which is called iMessage. You will most likely need to use an iCloud email address for texting rather than a phone number.
