• This is a great model for doing those things, you definitely don't need a Pro for email & surfing. I also game on mine and love it.

• Sounds like this iPad is exactly what you are looking for. Spending the additional dollars on the Pro model would be giving you capabilities that it sounds like you would not be looking for.
