I found that the auto-focus on this Ipad is a bit slow for fast sport like the volleyball game. The other challenge you may find is to keep you hands steady while shooting in movie mode. May be suitable for short recording periods rather than trying to make a movie feature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't. Unless your phone is rather old, any iPad other than the current (at any moment) iPad Pro will typically have a lesser camera. So far as capacity, as long as you don't have a ton of other stuff loaded, you'll find that a 128gb device will very likely outlast whatever you're planning to record. I recorded +3hr long videos for an art project on my old (128/256gb?) iPhone 6s+ and had no issues once I deleted some media and VERY large apps I had. However, having an iPad makes photos/videos MUCH better to view/edit.
