If you purchase your new iPad through Sprints offer, you will pay a monthly amount for the iPad purchase plus the Sprint cellular payments for the service plan you have. Hope this addresses your question!

No. you can lease the iPad through Sprint, buy it and just pay for the service or buy it as WIFI only
