If you want to pay to add your device to your monthly cellular bill, go with the cellular WiFi. Just like your cell phone, you'll have connection virtually anywhere. It will use your data allotment. If you will only be using where WiFi is available and want to save on the expense, get the WiFi only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are not just restricted in areas without wi-fi like coffe shops, stores and restaurants. I used the cellular part when I am on the road and staying at a hotel that does not offer wi-if service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my opinion and I do IT for a living, the ONLY advantage is the rare occasion when wifi is not available. Face it, most cars are wifi enabled now. I prefer wifi so I don't eat into data on my wireless plan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The benefit of celluar is you will always have an connection with your cellar network, but it will cost you extra depending on your data plan. where as wifi is only available when there is a wifi network to login on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a modern smartphone plan, you dont have to go through the extra step of tethering the iPad to your smartphone. Not worth it to me, but i guess to some it might be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am very happy with my wifi only. I do not need to connect else where. If you need to connect where there is not wifi AND you have the data plan for it, then get the cellular. I have my phone for any cellular need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are used to using your iPhone anywhere and flipping to cellular when wifi is slow (free wifi in hotels, etc is often very slow), then you may regret not getting cellular +wifi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need to purchase another phone and the IPad does do much more than a phone, so having the cellular as well keeps you from having to switch form one to the other.
