Yes you can transfer the information from your old iPad to the new one. There are two ways to dot it: 1) simply using your iCloud backup or 2) you can do a complete transfer (must be in a wifi location). To do the transfer you must have the two iPads near each other do so. Once you complete the transfer, check you new iPad and look to see that everything has moved over. Then you can do a factory reset on the old iPad.
