In order to be connected to cellular later, you must buy with the cellular chip. And of course that will cost about $100 more. No getting around it. You will be using the same towers as the cell phones use. Then your faced with activation fee plus monthly charges. If you end up with WiFi, be careful with the hotspots. Make sure all unknown WiFi hotspots are secured & require password. Using public WiFi your taking a huge chance on being hacked. Good luck!!
