• I initially bought the large iPad for the latest processor but I found the size unwieldy. Although the iPad 4 mini is older, it’s form factor is just perfect

• It is about. 1/3 of a pound lighter.than the iPad 5 but it is thinner and feels lighter, especially if reading a book.
