What is jelly scrolling? Is it noticeable? Does this iPad have it? null

Jelly scrolling is an anomaly that can only be seen when in portrait mode on this tablet. When scrolling quickly the right side of the text seems to be lagging a little time behind the left side of the text on the screen, giving it a jelly type appearance. To be honest, you just about to be looking for it before you notice it. I found this particular problem to be a non-issue. 
The problem is most common on 60Hz displays. The iPad Pro’s all have the 120Hz display, so due to the higher refresh rate, do not have this issue. The lower end iPad also doesn’t have it; even though, it does have a 60Hz display. Why? Because of the screen size. 
The small screen size of the Mini just isn’t optimized for everything across the board. Portability has it’s trade-offs. I exchanged my Mini for an 11” iPad Pro, and I’m totally happy with that decision.

It is noticeable, once you see it you cannot stop seeing it. It can only be seen when scrolling vertically though. 
It bothers me a little bit actually that I was about to return the iPad but I decided to kept it since it has more pros than cons.

Jelly scrolling is an absolute non-issue! Don’t even worry about it. Only a select few power users would ever notice it and few of them would be bothered by it. If you are a normal user it won’t be noticed.

Supposedly mini has jelly scrolling where half the screen has a slight delay /visible warp catching up as you scroll down. Honestly have not noticed it.

Does not come up with left to right aka side ways.
