Earlier models like the iPad Mini 4 did not support eSIM; Apple introduced eSIM in iPads around 2018 (with the iPad Pro 3rd gen, iPad Air 3, and iPad mini 5 cellular versions). So, yes — if you’re getting a cellular version of the Mini 7, it has eSIM capability.

• A:Answer It came unlocked, but you can add a fingerprint on it. It does transfer a lot of stuff too. When you get it from your old iPad just not everything.
